John Cade was extremely helpful when my wife and I were looking for a property to purchase on Salt Spring Island. He first showed me around a number of properties which were appropriate for my budget and in very good condition. I explained to John that my wife's thoughts and feelings would be very important in any purchase we made. John took me to lunch and asked me a number of my wife's likes and dislikes as well as asking about the sort of properties she had lived in when she grew up in her native Spain.

 When my wife and I visited the island together, John had done his homework very well. There was a new property on the list he had of houses to show us. This was the first property we visited, and my wife fell for it immediately. We visited other houses on John's list, but my wife kept referring back to that first property. At the end of the day, my wife said she would love to see that first property if it were possible. John made it possible, and a few days after we returned to the UK, we put in an offer for the house and eventually purchased it. John Cade is most professional and very courteous in his own friendly and humorous way. He allows people time to look at properties at their own speed and remains unobtrusive while clients look at the properties he shows them.

 I think John is an excellent real estate agent who listens carefully to what his clients say. I recently went to visit the property we bought and made sure to take John and appropriate gift for all the time and energy he spent in helping us to find our property.
